Can you help me with something?

I'm working on something and need a little feed back from my friends.
I need to define the word "New" from real people.

Here goes......
What does the word "new" mean to you?
What feelings or thoughts come to mind when you hear or see the word "new"?
Do you have any new year's resolutions?

Drop me a comment below with your answers.  I would appreciate it
so much!

The word New has a few different meanings to me. The first would be something that hasn't been ruined or tarnished yet. The second is my favorite, a chance to be or do whatever you want. A do-over. A New Start! I had mine back in 2003 and am a better person for it.

New to me means without blemish, something not used. Spiritually the word makes me think of clean or the 'new' body I will receive one day.

New. Still in the box, wrapped up, clean, fresh, no smudges, scratches, or dents. Unused. Able to make it the way you want

I think about new as something not messed with or tainted. Anne of green gables definition for a new day was with no mistakes in it. Fresh start, clean slate, to be able to have a do over too.

Not sure why this wont leave my mind. i just keeping thinking about it. some other things that came to my mind are.....excitement, a feeling of hope or promise that sometimes fades or is false, a false feeling of fulfillment, wonder, amazement, feeling proud or accomplished by somehing new. i know some of those are weird or negative, but just came to mind. i cant stop thinking about this word!!!

Undiscovered..., just yet. An experience, a feeling, an idea, perhaps an understanding, that hasn't occurred yet.
