An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels.
It seems the excellent wife must be searched for. She is uncommon. She isn't just like everyone around her.
She is rare.
When something is a rare find, the value of it increases. It's that old idea of supply and demand.
When things are a dime a dozen, they're cheap. But when something is rare, it is valuable.
As this series winds down, let's reflect on ourselves as women for a moment. Some questions I ask myself
No. I'm not. I'm a dime-a-dozen.
But if we are different from the rest and live our lives for Jesus, our Higher Purpose, we are no longer common. We are hard to find.
We are rare.
And our value goes through the roof.
I don't know where your heart is today, maybe you are discouraged or downcast. Can I speak something straight into your discouraged heart?
I completely understand how you are feeling, this world is tough and can be very discouraging, especially when we try to live different from the world. God wants you to know that you are rare. Women like you aren't a dime a dozen. And you, Proverbs 31 woman, are so valuable to Him. Your worth is far above jewels. Heaven is adorned with jewels, and He values you more than those. You just can't put a price on that.
